- The default directory for these files is “C:\Program Files\DVRM\DVR-008\voicedata”
- Remove the DVR software.
- Go to control panel-> Add or remove programs
- Scroll down “DVR Manager DVR-008”. Select Change/Remove
- Select the Remove option, next, and continue to complete the uninstall
- Close the Add or remove programs window
- Remove the USB device driver
- Go to control panel->system->hardware->device manager
- With the recorder connected to the computer and turned on there should be a USB device with a yellow ? or ! (under “other devices” or “universal serial bus controllers”)
- If you are unsure which device to uninstall, disconnect the voice recorder from the computer – the usb device that disappears is the voice recorder
- reconnect the voice recorder with the power turned on and the device will reappear
- Right click on this device and select “uninstall”
- Close the device manager
- Disconnect the voice recorder from the computer
- Remove the installation CD from the drive
- Restart the computer
